Significant progress continues on the White Settlement Bridge. Work completed in October to date includes three major pours on the bridge’s superstructure. The areas indicated in green (below) show the elements of the bridge pours in October. The blue areas in the graphics reflect August/September bridge concrete pours.

Work is progressing from west to east on the bridge and it’s anticipated that additional pours will continue throughout the fall and winter. The lower box girder system, which serves as support for the roadway, on Bents 2 and 3 are now complete and the next steps will include the installation of the tie-beams, which will give the bridge span load carrying capabilities for the bridge deck.
