Fort Worth’s Fourth Returns to Panther Island Pavilion
Mark your calendars, Fort Worth’s Fourth will be back and bigger than ever! Fort Worth’s Fourth is a free family event hosted on the banks of the Trinity River at Panther Island Pavilion. Admission and all family activities such as zip lines, bounce houses, water slides and more are free to the public. The celebration will take place all afternoon with family activities, live music, tubing and when the sun goes down a spectacular fireworks show will start.
Back by popular demand, Aquafly fly board shows will feature riders performing tricks on what can only be described as water fueled jet-packs. These high-flying daredevils are guaranteed to make the audience’s hearts stop with stunts only seen in the movies.
Jet ski shows are back this year. A favorite of years past, the shows at Fort Worth’s Fourth features The 9 Mile Motorsports Freestyle Team which is led by Daniel Martin who is currently ranked 2nd in the world. The shows will also feature Jace Forest, 2014 Pro Freestyle National Champion and Peter Waldron who is one of the top 5 riders in the world. From all of these riders, you will see multiple backflips, barrel rolls, 360s, 540s, extended combinations of tricks strung together back to back, while taking hands and feet off of the ski!
There will be live music from Jimmy Buffett tribute band, The Land Sharks and the high-energy cover band, Downtown Fever.
Thanks to a partnership with the city of Fort Worth and the FWPD a full traffic plan will be in place on the day of the event. Extra officers and resources will be made available to provide traffic relief similar to what has been utilized at Texas Motor Speedway. Live traffic maps will be available in advance and will also be updated during the festival to plan the best route to the festival.
Food, soda, water and beer will be for purchase on site. Gates open at 2:00 p.m., live music will be from 6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. and fireworks will begin at approximately 10:00 p.m.
Fort Worth’s Fourth is made possible by Andrews Distributing, Coors Light, Tarrant Regional Water District, NBC 5s DFW, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, 103.7 KVIL, 92.1 Hank FM, 95.9 The Ranch and Telemundo 39. Fort Worth’s Fourth is produced by the Trinity River Vision Authority.
