The Fort Worth holiday season will be a lot “cooler” thanks to a new outdoor ice skating rink coming to Panther Island. The Trinity River Vision Authority is delivering a seasonal ice rink that will debut November 22 and operate until January 5.

Record-Setting Registration for 22nd Annual TRWD Trinity Trash Bash

On Saturday, September 21 4,000 people will help clean up the Trinity River in Fort Worth as part of the 22nd Annual Tarrant Regional Water District’s (TRWD) Trinity Trash Bash. With 1,000 more participants than last year this will be the largest Trash Bash in its 22 year history.

Rockin' the River Kicks Off With Record Attendance

Last night Rockin’ the River kicked off its third annual season with a splash! A record attendance flocked out to Panther Island Pavilion to hear Josh Weathers and Steve Helms Band from the comfort of an inner tube and the shaded river bank. Hungry tubers chowed down on savory fried pies from Magnolia Motor Lounge and celebrated happy hour with Coors Light, Coors Original, Mikes Hard Lemonade, Blue Moon and Blu Premium Drinks. When the sun went down, Steve Helms Band rocked the after party for fans who were not ready to call it quits when tubing ended.
Watersports Course Now Available for TCC Trinity River Students

Registration is now open for a Physical Education course at the Tarrant County College (TCC) Trinity River Campus that focuses on watersports. The eight-week course will allow students to take their education out of the classroom and on to the Trinity River as they learn to stand up paddle board, kayak and wakeboard.
