The sun sets over downtown Fort Worth as the sound of music fills the air. It’s a postcard-perfect mid-April evening, and a crowd of more than 4,000 people has descended on a parking lot in the shadow of the Tarrant County College campus.

Kayaking, wakeboarding and paddleboarding are part of the lesson plan as Tarrant County College takes the classroom to the river. Beginning March 19, the school’s Trinity River Campus will offer a physical education course focused on water sports.

Coyote Drive-In is set to install its screens today at 3 p.m. as the theatre plans for an opening in the spring of 2013.

As workers attached the screens Friday for the Coyote Drive-In north of downtown, the project's developer said the first films won't be shown until sometime next spring.
